STORY

It all started with a small group of people who decided to do things differently. Our enthusiasm—and, to a large extent, a new purpose in life—was sparked 11 years ago by an abandoned building full of trash whose days were numbered. We pulled on our overalls and spent every spare moment working on it.
After hours of hard work and sweat, and with the help of our friends, we opened Radlická kulturní sportovna—a place where you can grab a drink with buddies, play volleyball, or host a party.
It was this exact place that kickstarted one massive adventure.

Not long after, just a short distance away, we discovered another relic of bygone glory. From a former carpentry workshop, we conjured up an unconventional café where we wanted to offer much more than just specialty coffee and great breakfasts.

The industrial space of Kavárna co hledá jméno, combined with its outdoor courtyard, creates a unique spot where you can easily lose track of time and forget that you are still in the city center. Bringing the café to life with artwork by Czech and Slovak creators ultimately paved the way for another project—Dudes & Barbies Gallery.

Even back then, we knew we wanted more, so we bit off a massive chunk. We wanted to be the first in the Czech Republic to revive an entire city block. That is how VNITROBLOCK was born in lower Holešovice inside a former factory—a multifunctional space featuring a café, restaurant, dance studio, gallery, meeting rooms, and plenty of other concepts.

Mission accomplished! However, with three industrial venues on our hands and a massive workload, it was time to take a breather and wait for the right moment before diving into our next big plans.

Rested and with newly gained experience, we are launching fresh projects that are definitely not our final stretch—quite the contrary. The marathon is far from over.

In October 2023, our family of venues grew to include another sibling! GRAM in Prague's Vinohrady district has become a space for everyone who loves unconventional spots, good coffee, and gastronomy built on quality, local ingredients. With its focus on ecology, sustainability, and, above all, originality, Gram perfectly complements our café family, which stands on these very pillars.

While our guests are used to premium products from our suppliers... wouldn’t it be cool to roast our own coffee, distribute it across our venues, or even sell it for people to enjoy at home? Wouldn’t it be awesome to bake our own honest, artisanal pastries alongside making our own desserts?

We fell so in love with the idea of a guest buying OUR sweet pastry loops (loupáky) in the morning and sipping them with OUR coffee that in January 2024, we opened our very own roastery, NOT ANOTHER BORING ROASTERY. Following that, in April 2025, we launched the Skýva bakery right inside Vnitroblock. Both have opened new doors into the world of gastronomy—doors we were previously a bit too afraid to unlock.

In January 2025, we opened Bistro B at Budějovická. A cozy, modern bistro where you can stop by for a hearty breakfast and specialty coffee, a quick lunch, or early evening tapas and a glass of wine. Don't forget to grab our Skýva pastries and a bag of coffee to go here as well!
